Electrical Engineer

Client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems and projects at the Twin Falls and Mini-Cassia factories. This position will be based out of the Magic Valley and will report directly to the Director of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and direction for electrical engineering activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards and applicable codes.
- Work extensively with the Engineering Manager, Operating, and Maintenance Departments in planning, developing, and engineering new improvement projects.
- Conduct, direct, and collect data from engineering studies regarding the cost of operations and maintenance of equipment, systems, or processes, identifying areas of improvement.
- Assist with the design, cost estimating, bidding, and preparation of construction documents, as well as managing the various factory projects.
- Provide engineering support to other departments of the company as required.
- Participate in root cause analysis of electrical issues within both factories and partner with power providers to create and complete countermeasures.
- Investigate new equipment offered by various suppliers and present findings to the members of the Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering Departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering license preferred.
- 6-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NFPA electrical codes, grounding, bounding, industrial power distribution, steam generation, turbine generators, motor controls, variable drive, and breaker coordination.
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Possesses strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with project management including leading engineering teams and electrical supervisors.
- Familiarity with the specific electrical systems used in the food processing industry, including power generation.
